Really?

The Loan Charge Action Group (LCAG) has been formed to raise awareness of this retrospective tax charge introduced by HM Government in the 2017 Budget.

Our Mission:

  • Inform the tens of thousands of individuals impacted, many who are still unaware of the devastating impact, and prevent retrospection becoming a standard taxation take.
  • Continue building the community where affected individuals can find information and support.
  • Engage with politicians and the media to raise awareness of the devastating impact this legislation is having on individuals, their families and our communities.

LCAG do not provide any form of chargeable service or professional advice.

We need to do this together. The momentum comes from people like you, and we are hoping by taking the time to read the detail we have provided, it helps inform; and that you may be moved to join or even step out on this journey with us.

We are not culprits, but victims across a wide spectrum; we can put you in contact with others in your area so you can work together supporting your MP in being informed effectively, and other publicity where relevant. To increase the momentum, we would encourage you to canvass your colleagues and contacts, both past and present to confirm the use of such solutions and link to this site.

LCAG volunteers are not professionals, but aim to provide support

If you would just like to be informed, discuss any aspect, become part of the community, please contact us, even if it is a tentative e-mail at [email protected].

If you feel you cannot cope do not hesitate – text ‘LCAG HELP’ to 81025

Doing nothing will mean that you remain unprotected from this unjustified charge. We urge you to take action now.

What it means to people who have had loans What it means to all tax payers Where are we now, and how did we get here How did we get here
